Coach Ali began his football career at Oakland Tech High School in Oakland, California. As a Freshman, Coach Ali rushed for 600 yards and 6 touchdowns. His Sophomore season, he rushed for 800 yards and 12 touchdowns. In his Junior Year, Coach Ali starred as a Defensive Back for the Rockets of Moon Valley High School with 6 interceptions, 30 tackles and 4 touchdowns. Coach Ali finished his Senior Year with the Rockets with 9 interceptions, 45 tackles and 6 touchdowns as well as splitting time as a Wide Receiver amassing 10 catches for 400 yards and 4 touchdowns. Coach Ali also ran on the Rockets Track Team earning a State Appearance in the 200 and was ranked #16 in the state in 1989. After playing football for two seasons with the Florida State Seminoles and graduating, Coach Ali started his coaching career at the Pop Warner level in 1993, later transitioning to high school football in 2009. During that period, Coach Ali played Semi Pro Ball for the Arizona Heat and Phoenix Warriors from 2003-2012. This is Coach Ali's 3rd year with the Rams football program and 2nd year as the Rams Freshman Head Coach.
