Tyrone Jackson

Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks & Running Backs
Coach Jackson played football for the Eagles of Stephen F. Austin High School in Port Arthur, Texas as a Running Back & Wide Receiver and for the Titans of Memorial High School in Port Arthur, Texas. Coach Jackson returned to Memorial High School as a Assistant Coach/Maxpreps and Hudl Coordinator breaking down game film on opponents. Coach Jackson was part of the Titans State SemiFinal Run in 2011 where they ultimately lost to eventual State Champion Cibollo Steele. Coach Jackson joined the Rams Football Staff in 2016 as a Varsity Receivers coach as well as the Hudl/Maxpreps Coordinator and Rams Football webpage Coordinator. Coach Jackson brings passion, youth, a strong strategic mind and discipline to the Rams football program. This is Coach Jackson's 7th year in coaching, 3rd second year with the Rams and 2nd year as the JV Offensive Coordinator.

 Chris Rivera - Defensive Coordinator
Coach Rivera started his football career at Sunnyslope High School. Upon graduation, Coach Rivera enrolled at Phoenix College and completed college by graudating from the Disney College Program. Coach Rivera returned to Sunnyslope and was the Linemen Coach for the Vikings for 4 years. This is Coach Rivera 2nd year with the Rams and his 2nd year as the JV Defensive Coordinator.

                                                        Steven Leonard - Head Coach/Special Teams Coordinator
Coach Leonard has been at Washington High School for 18 years and has coached various sports including football during that time. He is currently the Assistant Wrestling Coach and the Head Track and Field Coach in addition to coaching football. “I developed a meaningful relationship with sports early in my life and view sports as a way for student athletes to create success and learn transferable skills in their lives.” Coach Leonard is also a Counselor for WHS and an Adjunct Faculty member at Glendale Community College. As a counselor and coach, Mr. Leonard brings a special skill set and perspective to coaching football. He graduated from the University of Arizona, played football in high school for The Texas Military Institute of San Antonio, Texas and earned his Masters Degree in Counseling from the University of Phoenix. In high school, Coach Leonard played middle linebacker, running back, quarterback, and tight end earning All-Conference honors. “I look forward to coaching this year due to the caliber of coaches we have on staff and our opportunity to win this year. This will be our 4th year with a new system under Coach Mayfield and Coach Enos and I expect our team to do very well.”
